About me
What I love most about my work as a lawyer is preventatively guiding clients with a multi-disciplinary approach to matters of Family Law and Succession planning so that litigation is avoided.
- Former Foreign Service National at US Embassy in Brazil

- Former Conciliation Judge at Federal District Special Court
- Former Vice Consul of Brazil in Los Angeles
Having experienced succession difficulties firsthand as an heir, I transformed the problem into a new purpose in life: helping other people going through a similar situation and, above all, preventing such situations through Succession and Relationship Planning.
In this way, I hope to honor my late father, Joazil M. Gardés, who dedicated most of his long professional life to acting as a Judge, Judge and Lawyer. Let everyone know that the flame of your teachings, values and example of life remains lit with each guidance.
The wisdom that life should always be guided by the compass of the popular saying: “Prevention is better than cure”.
In a second step, conflict resolution can involve conciliation, where I also have practical experience of a few years, which leads to extrajudicial inventories more quickly.
However, if there is no agreement of wills, making the rights of my clients prevail with Intensity, Competence and Determination become my priorities.
